Nausea and Vomiting

The sudden onset of nausea and vomiting within the first two weeks of a head injury indicates possible bleeding within the skull. Bleeding complications are common during recovery from a head injury. Seek medical attention immediately.

It is also common for nausea and vomiting to result from swelling or bruising within the brain, as occurs in a concussion.
