Swollen Glands in the Neck

Canker sores inside the mouth, cold sores on the lips or gums, and minor infections around the mouth can stimulate the lymph nodes in the area to enlarge. Any of these problems should heal and the lymph node swelling should be gone in the next couple weeks. If the symptoms persist or the lymph nodes remain swollen, contact your doctor.
